NursingCalc is a free collection of clinical calculators and reference charts. It is supported by advertising, which is what keeps it free to use. You do not need an account, and you do not have to give us any personal details to use the calculators. The numbers you type into any calculator are processed entirely in your browser — they are never sent to us, stored by us, or seen by us.
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. NursingCalc is an independent reference project, operated privately. If anything here is unclear, email info@nursingcalc.com.
We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other identifying information to use the calculators. Two kinds of information are collected automatically when you visit:
If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to put in that message. We use it only to reply and do not add you to any list.
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: to understand how the site is used (analytics), and to fund the site through advertising. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

We display advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Because we do not collect personal accounts or store the numbers you enter, there is very little data to retain. Aggregate analytics and advertising data are held by the respective providers (Google) under their own retention policies. We take reasonable measures to keep the site secure, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not collect names, emails, or other identifying details unless you email us voluntarily, we usually hold no personal data tied to you. This site is intended for nurses, nursing students, and others who need routine clinical calculations. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here rather than notified individually, since we do not hold contact details for visitors.
